Manifesto

Hong Kong Design History Network (HKDHNet) is a research group focused on the design histories and material culture of Hong Kong. Working across academic and public institutions, our goal is to re-contextualise histories of Hong Kong through design narratives, and bring together like-minded practitioners from across disciplines to facilitate collaborative projects and discussions of Hong Kong. We aim to do this through exhibitions, workshops, conference panels, symposia, publications, and an online platform.

香港設計史網絡是一個專注於香港多元化設計歷史的研究團體。 香港設計史網絡是由英國維多利亞和艾伯特博物館（V&A）/ 皇家藝術學院（RCA）設計歷史課程和 RCA /信言設計大使 設計策展獎學金的校友組成，通過以設計和物質文化為中心的協作與跨學科項目，在學術和公共機構中實踐，希望重新思考香港的歷史背景和文化。由於與香港的聯繫，成員來自藝術、設計、學術和博物館等各個領域；她們在建築、城市研究、時裝和服裝以及展覽等方面擁有廣泛的專業經驗。 香港設計史網絡的活動目前集中在英國和香港。
